Hannah Crosbie is a wine writer, author and broadcaster. In December 2024, she was named as the new wine critic for The Guardian. She poured her first bottle in a restaurant when she was a teenager (legally), and has since spent most of her working life connecting with everyday drinkers via newspapers, telly, books and memes. She is Scottish.

Prior to her appointment at The Guardian, she filled in for previous critic Fiona Beckett and Jancis Robinson at the Financial Times. She has written regularly for London Standard and The Independent and is also a regular contributor to Noble Rot. She first appeared on Sunday Brunch in 2022 and is now their regular wine presenter.

Her debut book, Corker: A Deeply Unserious Wine Book, was released in 2024 and was described as “funny, original, irreverant”.

For press, partnerships, literary and broadcasting enquiries, Hannah is represented by Hot Sauce.
